10 Φεβ 2019 · I assume the artwork is added as metadata to the audio files as it shows up in Finder if I browse the media folder. I'm using iTunes 12.9.5.5 on Mojave and 12.8.2.3 on El Capitan. Both have an "Album Artwork" folder but on El Capitan it has just a few empty subfolders.

30 Ιαν 2021 · In Apple Music, iTunes 12, and iTunes 11: Select File > Library > Get Album Artwork. In older versions of iTunes: Go to the Advanced menu and select Get Album Artwork . Alternatively: Download the album cover image online, right-click the song, then select Get Info > Add Artwork or go to the Artwork tab.
