There are identified risk factors associated with IVIG induced aseptic meningitis. High rate of infusion is most common. Other factors include include high dose of immunoglobulin being infused, patient not well hydrated and a previous history of migraine.

We report on our identified cases of IVIg-induced aseptic meningitis, identify the true incidence, and speculate on the natural history of this condition.
