This report documents the methodology and results of DOE's analysis of the energy savings associated with the 2019 edition of the ANSI/ASHRAE/IES Standard 90.1, which was published in October 2019. The analysis found that Standard 90.1-2019 would improve energy efficiency in new commercial buildings across the U.S. by 4.7 percent site energy, 4.3 percent source energy, 4.3 percent energy cost, and 4.2 percent carbon emissions.
