Adding, removing, or changing your @asu.edu email address or aliases: 1. Go to Manage your ASU email address. (If you are not already signed in to My ASU with your ASURITE ID and password, you will be prompted to enter both on the ASURITE ID log in page.)
When you activate your ASURITE User ID, you will select to have your ASU email forwarded to a personal account. It's important to check your email often for time-sensitive notifications and next steps about enrollment. You'll have access to your official ASU email when classes begin.
If you want to change your alias that you use in your @asu.edu email address, which may also change your MyASU login (I've never seen someone do this before so I can't confirm), then you would go MyASU -> profile -> email -> Manage your ASU email address.
You can easily change that, if that is the issue. Email forwarding does that. Call the help desk, if they can’t help you they will submit a service ticket which will get sent to the email team. Anyone else have this problem? I know other students have the same issue.
When you graduate from ASU you have the option to continue using your ASU email account. Should you cease using it for an extended period of time it may become inactive. If you would like to reactivate it, please contact the ASU Computer Accounts office at 480-965-6500. https://alumni.asu.edu/frequently-asked-questions-asu-alumni.
