Asus laptops are good all across the board, and the absolute best of the best when it comes to high end models. My personal experience can't be described as anything but amazing. My Strix GL503, with an i7 7700HQ and a 1060, has been rocking it since the start of 2018, and I "only" paid 1400€ for it.
