Atenolol is used in the treatment of hypertension, stable angina, and used to lower the chance of death aer heart aack/MI. Can be taken with or without food and usually taken 1-2 mes daily. Avoid apple juice and orange juice b/c they can prevent atenolol from being absorbed.
