On April 23, 2022, Attornery was elected the 13th President of the State Conference of the Georgia NAACP by an overwhelming margin.

Attorney Griggs is committed to community service throughout Georgia. He was elected President of the Georgia State Conference of the NAACP in April of 2022. He is also the President of the Atlanta Chapter of the NAACP and is also the former Third Vice President of the State Conference of the Georgia NAACP.
