Each year the Audio Publishers Association honors the best titles in audio publishing at a gala awards ceremony. In 2024, the 29th Annual Audie Awards® Gala was held in Los Angeles and streamed to the world on Monday, March 4. Awards were given in twenty-seven categories including Audiobook of the Year.

The Audie Awards (/ ˈ ɔː d i /, rhymes with "gaudy"; abbreviated from audiobook), or simply the Audies, are awards for achievement in spoken word, particularly audiobook narration and audiodrama performance, published in the United States of America.
An Audie Award recognizes the year's most outstanding audiobooks and spoken-word entertainment. The Audies have been granted by the Audio Publishers Association, the not-for-profit trade organization of the audiobook industry, since 1996.
