No-there is a nearby parking garage that has a fee, but there are also spots nearby that are free. The city is looking at installing parking meters on Broad St., but that has not happened yet.
Augusta Riverwalk. The Augusta Riverwalk features a children’s playground and various gardens. Two museums are located off the walkway along with the Jessye Norman Amphitheater and several restaurants. Great for families out for some fresh air along the Savannah River.
You can park at the visitor parking spaces next to 1 Tenth street (the big office building next to the Marriott.) The spots are labeled two hour visitor and lots of people use those spots to go to the riverwalk entrance at 10th street.
Where is the parking for the Augusta Riverwalk? Parking can be found near the Riverwalk entry points on 10th Street by the Augusta Marriott, in a large lot near the 8th Street entrance and the 6th Street entrance near the Augusta Museum of History.
