19 Σεπ 2010 · Try to manually wind the watch in vertical position, if the rotor still spins despite of its weight, there is a defect on the auto winding mechanism.
When I tried to manually wind the watch via the crown, it wound normally for 2-3 turns and then became more resistant and I could feel the rotor turn with each wind of the crown from then on. Does anyone have any insight to what's going on?
5 Απρ 2013 · To be clear we are talking about the rotor attached to the movement and not the crown on the side of the case. What did and didn't work when it died. Did it stop ticking and the rotor would not turn?
6 Ιουλ 2017 · If I give it a good flick of the wrist I can get a 180 degree or even up to 360 degree turn out of the rotor. This, however, is far less free than the movements in my Union Glashütte Noramis, or my Certina which both move quite freely.
Sometimes the rotor just randomly rotates non stop very fast for 10 seconds or more. The thing is, this weird rotation doesn't help with the winding, as occasionally the watch still stops moving after rotating.
