28 Οκτ 2020 · You will probably notice that the rotor only spins when held close to horizontal; if held vertical it will just wag back and forth. Sellita actually has a special information sheet that shows if you place the watch at 30 degrees from horizontal and the rotor doesn't spin, it meets requirements.

19 Σεπ 2010 · Try to manually wind the watch in vertical position, if the rotor still spins despite of its weight, there is a defect on the auto winding mechanism.
As you can see in the video, I'm not doing anything. It's very inconsistent when this happens. Sometimes it happens after I shake it to charge the power reserve.
5 Απρ 2013 · To be clear we are talking about the rotor attached to the movement and not the crown on the side of the case. What did and didn't work when it died. Did it stop ticking and the rotor would not turn? Or did it continue ticking while the rotor was not turning.
When I tried to manually wind the watch via the crown, it wound normally for 2-3 turns and then became more resistant and I could feel the rotor turn with each wind of the crown from then on. Does anyone have any insight to what's going on?
