Avicularia is a genus of the family Theraphosidae containing various species of arboreal tarantulas. The genus is native to Panama, the Caribbean, and tropical South America. [1][2] Each species in the genus has very distinguishable pink foot pads.
6 Ιουν 2013 · There are two major differences-Size and Color sp. amazonica are blueish purple under regular room lighting with long thick setae and a pinkish red abdomen reaching about 6-7in. avicularia are blueish black under regular room lighting with shorter thinner setae and a brownish red abdomen reaching about 4-5in. thanks for the info!
