Creating a One-Pager allows students to express their comprehension of, reaction to, and connections with a specific area of study. This activity works well as an alternative culminating performance assessment.
Follow this format for your One-Pager Project. Check off steps as you go. Use the paper provided by your teacher. (Teacher’s note- if working in groups, use large chart paper; if working individually, use blank white computer paper) Include two or more quotes from the text.
In this project, students are going to use the AVID One Pager template to demonstrate their comprehension of a topic they have covered in class. This strategy allows them to showcase their learning in a creative way.
