7 Ιουλ 2024 · Delta’s carry-on bag size limit is 22″ x 14″ x 9″. These dimensions include the wheels and handles of your carry-on bag. If you aren’t sure what size your carry-on is, Delta has carry-on sizers located near the ticket counter.
All carry-on items must meet Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and may not exceed 22" x 14" x 9". The FAA mandates that all carry-on items fit under a seat or in an enclosed storage compartment.

Please note that these dimensions include the handles and wheels, but they do not apply to small musical instruments that can fit in the overhead compartment or under the seat in front of you.

The personal item may be a laptop bag, a purse, or anything else having a similar size. You must ensure that at least one of the two items can fit below the seat in front of you.
The maximum carry-on luggage size for Delta Air Lines is 22 inches X 14 inches X 9 inches (56 cm X 35 cm X 23 cm). These dimensions include wheels and handles, so measure accordingly if you’re traveling with a roll-aboard suitcase or backpack. Delta does make exceptions for passengers traveling with infants-in-arms, which we’ll discuss below.
