27 Ιαν 2024 · Balsa USA Smoothie Build. I finished my first build, a Balsa USA Smoothie, 52” wing span. The wings are fully symmetrical with 1” of dihedral. It came out at 4.5 lbs with a 4S 3200 battery. It pulls 600 watts at 40 amps with a 13x8 APC prop.

29 Οκτ 2016 · The new rendition of Balsa USA's Smoothie caught my eye and I was hooked. Bought the kit from a fellow RCU member and then bought all the accessories. It will be powered by a Syssa 30 cc gas engine. has 5 in Dave Brown P 51 spinner.
27 Φεβ 2017 · I've been following the build threads of a couple of large IMAC airplane on FlyingGiants that outline the complete process for defining, cutting, and applying complex Monokote graphics. The two most informative were written by Tom Wheeler and Mark B.
I finally got to open my Christmas present and get to start my BUSA Smoothie build http://shop.balsausa.com/product_p/443.htm. The Manual they give you in the new kit is first class and better than the 2 pages of instructions included with the original.
