Unfortunately, plans have fallen through, and the film will not be produced. The story was to be based on Stefan Balugani's book "Wolf Destiny" which is available on Amazon if you're interested. I haven't read it and cannot comment on it, but from the blurb it does appear to follow the Balto sequels.
