5 Ιαν 2019 · Krieger’s single-point cut-rifled barrels are legendary in the precision rifle world, and have been one of the barrels of choice for some of the top gunsmiths for more than a decade. Benchmark Barrels also had 10% of these shooters using one of their barrels.
10 Μαρ 2020 · In today's market I see availability of Krieger barrels in mostly 4 groove but providing some variation of land/groove tightness. For example, Krieger offers both .236 and .237 barrels in 6mm. Then, on the Bartlein side, I see offerings of 99% (or more) 5R barrels.
Selection is the key to success with buttoned barrels and barrel makers like Hart, Douglas and Shillen grade their barrels by using an air gauge to judge the uniformity of bore and groove dimensions in each barrel.
19 Φεβ 2021 · Bartlein and Krieger are two of, if not the two top barrel brands currently. While I don’t own a Krieger, I’ve seen a bunch that performed exceptionally well. In 20+ Bartlein barrels, I’ve yet to have a dud. Between the two, the chambering job will likely be what helps to get the most out of the barrel, and CLE will do a great job.

I did notice the cylinder section at the breech of the Palma Contours varied some for the Krieger barrels (Krieger’s was 1/2″ shorter than what is shown here). 7 Απρ 2014 · I have had excellent results with Krieger, Shilen and also have several Douglas barrels that were spun on by ITD that are .50-.75 moa. Matter of fact, I am waiting impatiently on a 6.5x55 from ITD as I type.
