Here you depart the trail and climb the mountain from the southern tip to the peak at the northern end. Reverse the route for your return.

30 Οκτ 2019 · Battleship Mountain is a wonderful and rewarding day hike – a great way to get a taste of what Arizona’s Superstition Wilderness has to offer. The approach trails provide a fulfilling hike in and of themselves, featuring Saguaro cacti and classic desert scenery.
Try this 11.3-mile out-and-back trail near Roosevelt, Arizona. Generally considered a challenging route. This is a very popular area for backpacking, camping, and hiking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are October through April.
