Bayou Rifles operates two ranges, the Juliff range (aka The George R. Huffman Memorial Range) and the Addicks range. The Juliff range was acquired from the Huffman family in 1948. It had been a National Guard training facility, but following WWII, was decommissioned.

These matches are held at Juliff Range, generally on the first Sunday of the month and are NRA Approved. Participants compete in the F-Open, F-TR, Palma, Any-Rile or Service Rifle categories shooting in the prone position. There are 3 matches and each one consist of unlimited sighters and 20 shots for record within 30 minutes.
Bayou Rifles is well known in Texas for its metallic silhouette program in the smallbore rifle, air rifle, and lever action rifle disciplines. Bayou Rifles is also well established in other shooting sports such as High Power Rifle and Bulls-Eye Pistol.
