3 Μαρ 2020 · Being called a “born-again Christian” can mean many things to many people. For some, it means you are a Bible-thumping fundamentalist or a political conservative.
Being born again signifies “faith in the redemption of him who created you” . Being born again signifies that sincere repentance has taken place (Mosiah 27:24; cf. Alma 5:49–51). Those who are born again enter into a covenant with God to “be obedient unto the end of [their] lives” .
17 Αυγ 2019 · Four Evidences That You Are New. We all know that not everyone who claims to be a born-again Christian is a genuine follower of Christ. A 2017 study by LifeWay Research discovered that 24% of Americans profess to be evangelical. A higher percent claim to be born again.
Baptists teach that people are born again when they believe that Jesus died for their sin, and was buried, and rose again, and that by believing/trusting in Jesus' death, burial and resurrection, eternal life shall be granted as a gift by God.

The Holy Spirit is seen as a source of comfort, guidance, and empowerment, enabling believers to live a life that is pleasing to God.
