6 Φεβ 2017 · #1. My Mother-in-law has a bell strike clock with the above mechanism. At some point in it's history, it started chiming out of sync. The bell sequence it follows is 2-1-4-3-6-5-8-7. I can make wither the even or odd strikes accurate, but not both, by simply moving the hands.
