I've tried around the main brands of mini paints and here's what I got: DnD x Army Warpaints: There's a few good ones, browns and greys are all great. Most of the saturated colors are reaally bad making the overall range the worst mini paints I've tried.

Krylon rattle can primer is fine. You can get that at Walmart, target, Home Depot…almost anywhere. The black is perfectly fine and a fraction of the cost of hobby paint primer. Citadel base are not primers. My recommendation is usually art store rattle cans, or Army Painter cans.
8 Ιαν 2018 · I used to use automotive primer, particularly Walmart's house brand, and Rustoleum primer. I used them on styrene, but also on resin and on white metal. My considerations were that they covered pretty well, and gave good tooth for subsequent finish coats.
28 Νοε 2017 · It all boils down to personal preference. I, myself use a wide variety of paint brands. Model Master Enamels & Acrylics, Pollyscale, Aeromaster, Tamiya, LifeColor, Humbrol enamels, Akan Acrylics, Gunze/Mr. Color, and recent addition of Mission Model Acrylics. There have been very good reviews on Mission Model paints.
