Blackjacks are a group of members' only melee weapons. They are used in the Thieving skill to lure/knockout certain NPCs located in Pollnivneach. There are three types of blackjack: ordinary, offensive (also known as attack), and defensive.
I'm trying to grind from 48 to 50 for Mourning's end part 1, and most of what I'm finding says to blackjack bearded thugs in Polniveach. This seems like an extremely inefficient method unless you get them in the perfect spot, and even then im subject to getting clubbed for 4 damage and have to reset their aggro if they attack me.

24 Ιουν 2008 · Blackjacking provides the fastest thieving experience all the way from level 45-91, and in some cases, (provided you're good at it), through to 99. Break down; 45-55 - around 90k xp an hour. 55-65 - around 150k xp an hour. 65-87 - around 180k xp an hour. 87-91 - around 200 xp an hour. 91-99 - around 220k xp an hour.
XITangoIX. Blackjacking is severely underrated when it comes to how AFK it is now. Discussion. With the right setup, blackjacking requires almost as much attention as Ardy knights, or arguably even less with better XP rates especially pre 95 thieving.
