Any advice on choosing the correct Roll-Line plate? I've heard great things an about Roll-Line in general and already have the Variant C. I'm considering upgrading to the Dance plate.
A smaller distance aids easier (and safer) edge work. Plates with the highest are pretty much everything Suregrip (Avanti, Century, avenger) lowest are Arius and Athena. That being said RollLine are the industry leaders in plate design, especially if you want to focus on dance.
Once you’re on Roll Lines, you’re golden. The differences between all their plates are SUPER nuanced and even fairly experienced skaters cannot tell a difference in how a Variant C feels versus the Dance.
Our dance plate recommendations are on the exxy end of the price spectrum because we think a higher-quality plate makes a significant difference to your dance experience. However, if our suggestions exceed your budget the Roll-Line Variant M, Sure-Grip Avanti plates, Sure-Grip Avenger, and PowerDyne Reactor plate range are all great options.
