8 Ιαν 2024 · IF you want a ‘locals only’ place, then an Anglophone forum used mostly by foreigners is not the best place to ask. But on the other hand, if you venture into parts of town that are not usually visited by tourists, you will find plenty of ‘local’ places.
I've never had a bad pizza in Naples, but the absolute best was at Pizzeria Concettina ai Tre Santi in the Sanità area. It's super popular with locals so you either have to book or arrive early. Ask for a table in the garden.

Answer 1 of 31: Hello all, I am looking for the best pizza place in Naples for lunch. I heard many great things about De Michele. It was on both Rick Steeves and Samantha Brown's Almalfi coast shows.

Pizza made with tomatoes grown in volcanic soil gives a taste like nowhere else. To be fair, most pizza in Naples is made with these special tomatoes. http://www.damichele.net/ Reply.
