Portable QRP Antennas Now that hams have gotten over the stigma of end fed half waves, they're the go-to antenna for field work. Multiband versions like the PAR and now ARRL end feds are compact, easy to deploy and work great.
5 Δεκ 2019 · So far the best all around antenna I've found for performance and portability is a resonant end fed half wave using a 49:1 or 64:1 transformer with the radiating wire and guy string wound up in a plastic chalk line reel.
