23 Απρ 2021 · Has anyone on here used a Colt Cam in a 7.3 with actual experience? My motor is going to be ready to go about mid next week and i cannot wait to drive the thing. After windowing my block i figured i'd be one for the team and build a semi competitive 7.3 for sled pulls in the area.

18 Απρ 2005 · At work when we get a bad running DT in cold weather we often install a Powerstroke Cam sensor to advance the timing and it will run better in the cold weather.
12 Νοε 2018 · Your cam position sensor 7.3 (CPS) can cause symptoms ranging from hard start to rough idle to your 7.3 Powerstroke simply not starting at all. The good news is that it's not too hard or expensive to replace, especially if you happen to keep a spare in your glove box.
19 Ιουλ 2008 · Since nobody has ever made horsepower with a cam on a 7.3 and documented it, good luck with anything more than conjecture. Plenty of people familiar with what a turbo engine is looking for can tell you what you need out of the cam to help VE move a little bit.
7.3L - 1994.5 - 2003. The Ford Power Stroke engines are designed with heavy emissions controls in mind. This means that the camshafts aren't designed to take full advantage of the air flow the heads can produce. They are designed to reduce emissions by keeping some exhaust gas in the cylinders.
