I purchased Zinsser Allcoat satin (water based) to repaint my summerhouse. This paint is horrendous, worst paint I have ever used. The 15 year protection is a joke as it didn’t even last one winter.
16 Απρ 2020 · Zinsser BIN is one of the best stain blocks available for damage caused by damp. However, it won’t hold damp back. If moisture is still present and builds up behind the Zinsser BIN, then the paint will eventually fail.

24 Ιουλ 2024 · Zinsser BIN is a shellac-based paint, Bullseye 123 is water-based. They’re both adhesion primers and stain blocks, but each one is better for different jobs. For example, Zinsser BIN is better for blocking water stains and gripping to varnished wood .

2 Σεπ 2021 · We bought a tin of Zinsser BIN, Coverstain and Bulls Eye 123. We then tested these paints on all different kinds of surfaces to see which one you should use!
24 Νοε 2008 · Can you clarify if you used Zinsser BIN or Zinsser Bullseye 123? Frankly, seeing people recommend PVA on walls as a primer really irks me. No reputable decorator would ever suggest using PVA as a primer.
