Zinsser 123 Primer can sometimes discolor over time, especially when the painted surface is exposed to sunlight or UV rays. To prevent this issue, it is important to use top-quality UV-resistant paint over the primer and avoid painting in areas with direct sunlight.
11 Φεβ 2024 · The primer develops full hardness and adhesion with curing, but the 45 minutes is its drying time. Just don't drag heavy furniture across it or stuff like that until the curing time has elapsed. It can debond or scratch relatively easily before it has fully cured.
11 Σεπ 2023 · If you apply paint directly to concrete, it may flake or wash off. However, if you use a bonding primer, it will seal the surface, and bond to the paint when it is applied. Bonding primer will dry in 1-24 hours, depending on the environment.
28 Ιαν 2018 · Zinsser BIN is a white-pigmented, shellac-based primer that seals surfaces to keep sap and tannin from bleeding into paint when you're painting wood. BIN is what I use the most for priming kitchen cabinets and tough stains on drywall.
16 Απρ 2020 · Zinsser BIN is a stain block, adhesion primer and barrier coat all in one. With a drying time of 15 minutes and re-coat in 45 minutes. Zinsser BIN can be very handy to have on any decorating project.
30 Αυγ 2021 · Drying time BIN dries quick, and I mean quick. It will be touch dry in 20 minutes and you can apply a second coat in just 40, although I think you could probably apply a second coat in 30 minutes with no problems.
17 Μαρ 2020 · I usually start painting over the BIN Shellac Based primer once it’s dry. Depending on the humidity in your workspace, this could be anywhere between 45 minutes up to 2 hours. Happy painting!
