The first time you watch, have students record their inferences. On the second watch, have students record their evidence. The options are truly endless with this short. Do a quick search on YouTube for other movie shorts to see how you can use them in your classroom to support your instruction. Students love them and they definitely are engaged!
8 Δεκ 2020 · I love to use short videos in speech therapy sessions to spark discussion and increase engagement. Often these videos are wordless or have minimal dialogue, which allows the students to make inferences, predictions, and use descriptive language. Before we get to the list.
Purpose: to increase listening comprehension by making inferences and giving evidence to support answers to questions about a text. Making inferences is an important transitions skill. For more information about this skill please see the Transitions Integration Framework, page 15. Prep Time: 5 to 10 minutes.
