2 Σεπ 2020 · The Black Ice Glass FX Tube DAC DSD Wi-Fi is a very open, spacious, and nuanced component. Despite lacking the amenity of remote-controlled volume, it exhibits flat frequency response, excellent dynamics, and a very wide and deep sound stage. I normally listen at low volumes and am sensitive to noise.
30 Οκτ 2023 · About a month ago, I decided to once again start looking for a DAC, and made an effort to seek out something different while avoiding the over-reviewed and over-hyped usual suspects. I discovered the Black Ice unit, and was struck by just how little info or reviews there were for it.
25 Απρ 2020 · The PS Audio DAC is safe, I find it to be better but it is surprisingly close. The DSD was one of the ten tested and it did not fare to well. I blame the cabling used if I had to guess a reason. With great cables it out performs this little gem.
30 Δεκ 2021 · Spent some time searching for any info, experience or reviews on the forum here on the "Black Ice Glass FX DSD Wifi DAC", but hadn't found anything. Wondered if anyone has experience with it, it's various modes (Wifi, USB,Toslink), and if anyone has done some testing and measurements on it?
