9 Ιαν 2019 · PLEASANTON, Calif.—CooperVision has acquired Blanchard Contact Lenses, Inc., the scleral lens company, according to an announcement from CooperVision. The acquisition includes Blanchard’s U.S. and Canadian entities.
The Company produces a full array of monthly, two-week and daily disposable contact lenses, all featuring advanced materials and optics. CooperVision has a strong heritage of solving the toughest vision challenges such as astigmatism and presbyopia; and offers the most complete collection of spherical, toric and multifocal products available.
Blanchard Contact Lenses, a CooperVision Specialty EyeCare company, announced in October that it had expanded its US product portfolio to include Paragon CRT and Paragon CRT Dual Axis ortho-k lenses. 7 Both are reverse geometry corneal lenses manufactured in a high-Dk gas-permeable material and are designed for myopia management.
