  2. Blanco State Park is a 104.6-acre (42.3 ha) park, along a mile of the Blanco River, on the southern edge of Blanco, Texas. It features camping, picnicking, screened shelters, swimming, tubing, nature trails, and a wildlife viewing station.

  3. BLANCO STATE PARK IS THE NICEST LITTLE STATE PARK IN TEXAS. With only 54 total sites it has the great reputation for being the most comfortable and convient park around. It has all the ammenities that you will want. The Blanco River is the main focal point. Free fishing( no license required ) and swimming in the special pool at the dam.

Wildflowers bloom seasonally. Look for bluebonnet, Engelmann daisy, Texas paintbrush, firewheel, greenthread and four-nerve daisy.
