Utilizing and maximizing Blood Weapon is important for Dark Knight optimization. Beyond getting 5 GCDs during the duration, there are several tips and advanced things you can do. If you have a Blood Weapon and Delirium window coming up keep an eye on your blood gauge to avoid overcapping.
Short Rotation has slightly less AoE DPS, but the damage from Blizzard 3 should not be discounted (argument can be made for consistency, but crits ruin that, and the target for B3 can change every time), and so total DPS is superior until about 10 mobs.
