2 Ιουλ 2019 · N55 ENGINE: FC 28A0 OR 101F01 THROTTLE VALVE OPENING ANGLE. All models with the N55 Engine. The engine malfunction warning is illuminated, and one of the following fault codes are stored in the DME shortly after programming the vehicle or with a customer complaint.
28 Ιαν 2023 · I call this fault code the doom fault code. Once it's on, getting rid of it is a true challenge. SYmptom: Cel permanently ON with 101F01 Faultcode along with rough idle.
11 Αυγ 2022 · I replaced the boost solenoid, charge pipe and ran the troubleshoot but the code comes back. I learned that the error can occur as a difference in pressure limit between a few sections of the throttle system. So any boost/pressure leak from a valve cover or a pipe can cause the code.
16 Ιαν 2021 · Did you try running the Test Plan for error code 101F01 in ITSA? It will walk you through the diagnostic steps to determine root cause. That is how I was able to determine that it was indeed the intake plenum map sensor.
13 Οκτ 2021 · I went home and plugged in OBD and shows mixture lean, 101F01 and 118001, 118401. So I pulled up the sensors, MAF seem to be fine, since 2 banks value are really close. The problematic value is the intake pipe vacuum after throttle. I am getting 600 hPa for bank 1 and 411 hPa for bank 2.
7 Φεβ 2023 · Recently broke the serpentine belt, after repairing it my car is having the 101F01 fault error codes. Looking around the entire engine bay and don't see any vacuum hoses that have failed. Anyway, ordered a new Valvecover, let's see if that fixes it.
20 Ιουν 2023 · The culprit was a bad MAF, even though the MAF did not throw a code itself. Looked good and I cleaned it, no change. After looking at the values, the air mass would range 8-22 kg/h.
