2 Απρ 2022 · I took the car to a good mechanic/electrician ans they confirmed that the actuator was actually faulty. They traced the wires from the actuator to the glovebox fusebox and the fuse was fried. They replaced it but soon after it got fried again.

My active grille is not working, and it is driving me crazy. Getting these two codes from ISTA: 1) LIN Bus, message; radiator blind, top; missing. 2) Signal (status, cooling flap, brake, front axle, 257.6.8) invalid, transmitter DME/DDE.

2 Σεπ 2022 · A quick wiring diagram check confirmed that the K-CAN network is indeed connected by two wires - green and green/orange. Apparently the network will still function with only one wire connected, but will cause the line faults. This explained why I wasn't experiencing any obvious system malfunctions.
11 Ιαν 2023 · Only codes that it triggers seem to be ICM related which I suspect are related to the power interruption. Codes are as follows: CD9203 - radiator shutters - Permanent (was in a minor front end accident and I think the shutters were not hooked up or something was damaged
The previous errors cleared out when clearing the DTC. Now getting two other errors, CD9203-LIN, communication radiator shutter missing and CD9204-LIN, communication lower radiator shutter missing causing the warning indicator on the dash again. sorry for update.
At the end I found out it's a issue with the following code CD9203 Mechanic's Assistant: Does the light stay on, or does it blink? Customer: Stay on Mechanic's Assistant: What is the model/year of your BMW?
