2 Απρ 2022 · They replaced it but soon after it got fried again. They went back to check the actuator of the shutters and it felt hot. So faulty actuator. I don't think BMW sells the actuator seperately as it comes built-in with the air duct but it would be great if someone can confirm that.

My active grille is not working, and it is driving me crazy. Getting these two codes from ISTA: 1) LIN Bus, message; radiator blind, top; missing. 2) Signal (status, cooling flap, brake, front axle, 257.6.8) invalid, transmitter DME/DDE.

16 Μαΐ 2022 · Here is what I have done: 1) Replaced top radiator blind actuator with a brand new one from BMW. 2) That did not fix the problem, so I checked all the wiring - looks good, and the plug to the actuator is receiving 2-3 volts so power is there.

If I went off the light quickly but not WOT, code didn't really trigger. Basically what happens is when your engine does variable valve timing, since the oil is warm it's able to get past the groove that is dug in the bearing ledge and not enough pressure in the VANOS system.
13 Απρ 2018 · I had crank and wont start issue last time. Turned out that the power distribution box (under the hood left, passenger side) was faulty. Any good bmw software should be able to diagnose.
