5 Ιουν 2003 · The alignments I've gotten from Pep Boys were the basic one. The long warranty is voided if you replace any suspension component. The alignment included a print out.
Alignments are in no way a gimmick as parts settle and wear over time your get a changing alignment. If you hit a pothole your alignment can easily change. If you get into an accident it can change. If you replace worn steering/suspension components your alignment changes.
Pep Boys’ standard wheel alignment service includes a computerized alignment check, where a certified mechanic will inspect your vehicle’s suspension and steering components. They will then adjust the camber, caster, and toe angles to ensure that your wheels are properly aligned.
As others said, really depends on the tech. I had a local chain that one of the stores in particular my shop did business with. All alignments went to them, our shop didn't have the room or equipment. The one tech there was awesome, like an alignment whisperer.
You may generally expect to pay $35 to $85 for a two-wheel (or front end) alignment. The prices for four-wheel alignments range from $45 to $105, sometimes more if warranties are provided. Costs may still vary depending on the shop and the equipment their staff use.
