Bob's sedan gained national recognition as it was featured on the cover of Car Craft October 1956 and Trend Book 160 - Hot Rod 1958 Annual. [1] The flmaes on Bob's sedan were painted by Ray Cook. Ray did also build the nerf bars in front.

28 Δεκ 2011 · This hot rod was Bob's high school car, and has probably appeared in print more than most other hot rods through the years. He built the car in the mid 1950's, using a tidy but stock '40 Ford sedan as the base.
30 Απρ 2017 · The 40 sedan delivery has its own character. It looks chopped, but it isn’t, it looks like a sedan with the rear windows filled in, but it isn’t. It could also be a station wagon with no windows, so, what does it do? It delivers. It delivers tons of fun, despite the dreaded, right hand, blind spot.
I decided to build an AMT 1940 Ford Sedan Delivery in the style of the radically raked street rod style popular in Southern California in the early to mid ‘60’s. I have bought multiple of these AMT kits as parts kits for their hubcaps, bumpers and triple-carburetor manifolds for Buick Nailhead V8’s.
