14 Απρ 2020 · I purchased the Bondo Fiberglass Resin at Lowes. Lowes web site says it can be used on wood. In the Lowes Q & A someone said it states Polyester on the label. Someone said it does not contain wax. It is an epoxy as you mix a hardener in the resin.
Bondo® Liquid Resin for Fiberglass Filler instructions: Step 1: For repairing cracks in fiberglass: Sand in and around the damaged area with 80 grit sandpaper, removing any gel coat, paint, primer, and debris. Clean again with a low VOC compliant cleaner and allow to dry.
28 Ιαν 2014 · 01-28-2014, 03:49 PM. Re: Bondo Fiberglass Resin question. Bondo absorbs water much more readily than epoxy. It doesn't like to adhere to wood either. I'd rather use a barrier primer or oil-based primer.
