8 Οκτ 2009 · Jun 22, 2021. #1. Figured I would throw a post up with info on the new Borden Accuracy Bigfoot actions. They are optimized for the big lapua/norma magnum cases. They are the straightest actions Ive seen so far and the best option for the norma/norma improved/ and lapua cases.

1 Μαΐ 2021 · Call Jim Borden. He's a great guy to work with and he'll give you honest advice about his actions that is more informed than anyone here. That said, if you even think you might go with something longer than a 22 Dasher in the future, I'd go straight to BRL.
18 Φεβ 2023 · I have a Borden Alpine that Karl Feldkamp built for me in .223 Ackley. It has to be one of the smoothest bolts I own and also one of the tighter fitting bolts. I've had this rifle ~15 years and never any of the issues you're experiencing. You should probably contact Jim Borden and inquire with him.
16 Φεβ 2015 · I own two rifles built by Jim Borden. Just like Bigngreen said, they really are top of the line. Both of my rifles are proven 1/4moa shooters, one is a 300 win mag the other is a 338 RUM. They are both scary accurate. I also think Jim Borden is among the best gunsmiths out there.
