8 Οκτ 2009 · Your best bet for a repeater is a 338 norma improved. It fits in standard magazines while being throated for the heavy bullets. The 33xc was only 125-150 fps faster than my 338 norma improved in similar barrel lengths and powders. But the 33xc was burning 30 gr more powder to do it.

3 Νοε 2014 · It's been an exhaustive process, but I think I have narrowed it down to Borden, based on my experience trying his action on a buddy's gun. It was by far (at least to me) the smoothest, tightest action I have ever felt. Looked to be flawless build quality, as well.
21 Σεπ 2021 · So why did Borden and I both choose the 7mm Rem. Mag? Because it's a common round widely available with a nice balance of bullet weights and types, muzzle velocity, recoil, and trajectory. And it fits standard-length (30-06) actions. As a handloader, I can load the 7mm Rem. Mag. down to 7x57mm Mauser velocities or crank it up to its full potential.
14 Ιαν 2019 · My most accurate rifles are built on Borden actions. Not sure how an action effects accuracy but that is how it works out. Very precise lock up and fast lock time.
1 Μαΐ 2021 · - The 1.55 diameter receiver & the length offered on it are most fitting for a magnum cartridge. - Borden provide me one for a 30 Nosler build (RBLP - Not a drop port) in PVD coating and I couldn't be more pleased with it.
