Brockport Fair. The Brockport Fair, always held in October, began in the 1850s at the Uplands farm on Holley Street and flourished for 57 years. Originally the annual Fair displayed agricultural exhibits.
Brockport, NY—SUNY Brockport is thrilled to announce that acclaimed musician John Dady will be kicking off the 2024-2025 Fine Arts Series. Brockport’s history began when European settlers arrived in western New York in the late 18th century to land that was occupied by the Seneca Indians. In 1788, the Phelps and Gorham land syndicate bought from the Senecas 2.6 million acres from Seneca Lake to the Genesee River, plus a 12-mile-wide strip on the west bank of the Genesee.
