In December 1989, Bruce Kelly signed a lucrative five-year contract with the station, but was released just weeks later. Kelly sued for wrongful termination and won. Years later, Kelly went to KKFR and teamed with former WLUP Chicago DJ Maggie Brock to host "Bruce & Maggie in the Morning."

Bruce left Y100 / Miami to join WPGC in the Fall of 1981 when Don Geronimo left for KIIS-FM / Los Angeles. Initially he did nights, then afternoons. He left the station in the Spring 1983 for B94 in Pittsburgh. He later did mornings at WHTT / Boston and at KZZP / Phoenix. From 2000 - 2006 he was with XM's '80's format. Bruce Kelly today.
