I am clicking 'Play' on the BSG Launcher, and the initial loading screen comes up, and then doesn't progress from there. The loading circle in the bottom-right spins constantly, so I know it's not freezing. Here are some things I've tried: Running as administrator Clearing cache Checking for updates Verify file integrity
By going in and deleting them, the Steam validation process will see the files are missing and download them fresh. No need to reinstall your game. No need to lose your save files.

Having done this, restart Steam and try launching the game again. Step 2: Run Steam as Administrator - Navigate your Steam installation file (By default, it is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam).
1 Απρ 2022 · I'm trying to open a game but the sync status thing keeps on staying in "synchronizing cloud". When i click play it only says "Synchronizing steam cloud". and then always ends with "Unable to sync". I've clicked on my other games and they did the same thing too. Restarted steam and it still happens? What is happening??
Check the system disk and game disk with CheckDisk. If there are any errors found, please repair them. Install all Windows updates available in the Update Center. Relogin in launcher and the game. Reinstall the launcher and the game. Try to change the place to install the game from one disc to another.
Yesterday when I went to launch the BSG launcher, I got an error message about a file being corrupted and that it would attempt to repair it (I do not have the exact error message anywhere and cannot recreate it).
