28 Οκτ 2021 · BTTV has been the major player for Twitch emotes for years, but recently 7TV has begun to pick up popularity thanks to support for both wide and zero-width emotes. It's allowing people to be more creative not only with the design of emotes, but also how people use the emotes in chats in different situations.
I'm excited to share Frosty, a side project I've been working on for the past year. It's a mobile app for both iOS and Android that lets you browse and watch streams with all of your favorite BetterTTV (BTTV), FrankerFaceZ (FFZ), and 7TV emotes in chat! It's also completely free and open-source on GitHub.
12 Αυγ 2021 · If I remember correctly monkaS is in list of bttv's global emotes. So adding it is waste of a slot. Also there are another popular addons for adding emotes: FrankerFaseZ (bttv addon show ffz emotes by default iirc) and 7tv (in beta, not that popular, but has huge potential).
13 Μαρ 2022 · However, there's a second emote button below the chat box (in between the settings gear and the chat button) and I can see the BTTV emotes there. I can even use them fine from that menu. My issue is that I normally fill in emotes using the : and starting to type the emote name, and the BTTV emotes don't show up while doing that for some reason.
22 Ιουν 2021 · This makes it difficult to browse emotes with speed and comfort, whereas with FFZ and BTTV, you can simply scroll through an infinite library of emotes at your own leisure with ease. Once you have clicked the "+ Add Emote" button and accepted the Emote Guidelines on the following pop-up, you can NEVER go back and read it again .
3 Απρ 2023 · BTTV comes with FFZ emotes enabled by default, but not 7tv. 7tv comes with both BTTV and FFZ enabled by default. One side seems to have a clear bias here. Why would you blame BTTV when the new 7TV update not only blocked their emotes, but straight up broke every other twitch extension? The 7tv update didn't "break every other twitch extension".
1 Οκτ 2016 · No BTTV emotes is what had me on the edge of making the move at first. Now I've been using FFZ for over a year and it's just SO good when you have it configured properly. The always-viewable stream latency is great for when your internet connection is acting up, for example, as you can instantly see when it rises and by what amount.
20 Ιουν 2022 · I have bttv installed and certain emotes like Aware, HUH, and GIGACHAD won't show up but others do. I deleted my cache I tried to reinstall the extension I tried to unenable and re-enable BTTV and FrankerFaceZ emotes restarted my browser and then reenabled and that still didn't work.
I have the 7TV and BTTV Chrome extensions both installed, but none of 7TV, BTTV, or FFZ emotes show up in chat. I've tried uninstalling both extensions multiple times, reset both extensions' settings to default, ensured all emote settings were enabled, but emotes still refuse to show up.
17 Οκτ 2021 · BTTV emotes not showing anymore in OBS? Question hey guys, i for a good while now, months even, have this problem where it just dont show BTTV emotes in OBS, i use streamelements obs btw, and i do have enabled "twitch chat addons - bettertv and frankerfaceZ"
