Nickel City is a volunteer driven, non-profit, Buffalo dog rescue. We specialize in rescuing dogs from high kill shelters and bringing them to safety in WNY.
We will continue to provide innovative, high-quality veterinary care, work tirelessly to match our animals with their forever home, and bring education and awareness to animal protection issues throughout New York.
Pets Alive WNY (formerly Buffalo Humane) is an all-volunteer nonprofit no-kill animal rescue organization. In addition to adoptions, we also do some sanctuary work as well as behavioral consultations for persons in the community.
