If you are considering a black powder rifle for deer hunting, then I highly recommend the Optima V2. Does the CVA Optima V2 have a good trigger? Trigger preference is very subjective.

29 Αυγ 2013 · The CVA Optima V2 was introduced at the 2013 SHOT Show in Las Vegas. Although it has the same name as previous Optima muzzleloaders and the stock and barrel are essentially the same, the new Optima V2 borrows its action and trigger designs from the “top-of-the-line” Accura V2 series.
11 Σεπ 2023 · CVA Optima muzzleloader. Recommended by Michael Manzanares Colorado. This was my first muzzleloader purchase. I used it for the 2023 Mule deer/Elk season. It performed very well in the field. I was able to sight it in easily. I added the Western Globe sight.
