California’s governor signed Assembly Bill (AB) 150 establishing the Main Street Small Business Tax Credit II. This bill provides financial relief to qualified small businesses for the economic disruptions in 2020 and 2021 that have resulted in unprecedented job losses.
The Main Street Small Business Tax Credit II will provide Covid-19 financial relief to qualified small business employers. On November 1, 2021, the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration will begin accepting applications for tentative small business hiring credit reservation amounts through our online reservation system.
9 Φεβ 2022 · Employers are allowed a sick leave credit of up to 80 hours, at a maximum of $511 per day, but no more than $5,110 per employee in total, plus related health care costs. The credit was allowed for wages paid on April 1, 2021, through September 30, 2021.
28 Οκτ 2021 · CDTFA's online system will be accepting applications for qualified small business employers to reserve tax credits of up to $150,000. Tax credits will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis through November 30 or until the $116 million in available credits runs out.
2 Φεβ 2021 · The $500 million program is intended for small businesses and nonprofits impacted by COVID-19. Grants range in size from $5,000 to $25,000. Approximately half of the available funds were awarded in Round 1, with disbursement beginning January 22, and the remainder will be awarded to eligible businesses in this second round.
