21 Οκτ 2024 · Many Navy, Marine, and Air Force Mac users are having issues accessing their email via OWA and a few other CAC specific websites once getting a new CAC (or when migrated to O365). 22 Ιαν 2024 · Try this first: Go to Device Manager (Instructions are above), scroll down to Smart Card readers, right click the CAC reader that shows up below Smart Card Readers. It can also show up under unknown devices.
I have gotten my Asus Chromebook to recognize my CAC, and the test was successful with my pin. HOWEVER- when I attempt to login to ACT with my CAC, instead of the temporary password I had to set up today, my CAC or card reader are not recognized.

11 Μαρ 2024 · Solution 1-2: If you have an SCR-331 CAC Reader and using Vista, Windows 7, or 8, and are still having problems getting the reader to be recognized by ActivClient, or your CAC reader shows up as STCII Smart Card Reader follow these instructions for updating the firmware on the reader.
Updates: The error given by Chrome is "error 107". I'm running Windows 7 64-bit. I get the same result with my Cherry st-1044u as my cheap cl-ud-200 63-in-1 card reader; both readers work perfectly on my old machine. windows.
